Microfluidic Diagnostics

FROM: Bench testbeds

TO: Market, patents

Microfluidics is baked into our DNA (pun intended) at in2being. Members of our staff were early employees of the successful spin-out company HandyLab, Inc., a $275 million acquisition by Becton-Dickinson. The flagship product we developed is still in use today, re-branded as the BD MAX. As a result, we cut our teeth on plastic part design, automated systems, DNA analysis, microfabrication, optical fluorescence detection, prototype development, and manufacturing scale up. Since then, we’ve worked on many microfluidic projects at various stages of development.
